About Firefly Lane
Firefly Lane is an elegant chapel and barn wedding venue located west of Nashville, TN, with two private reception spaces that are nestled within perfectly secluded hills, featuring a charming country setting and serene outdoor ceremony spaces for enchanting evenings and unforgettable celebrations.
Our Story
The story of Firefly Lane begins with a desire to serve, a need to show Christlike love through marital unity and a flicker of firefly light between a lane of trees. Owners Cory and Jessica Williams purchased the farm that would become Firefly Lane in 2008 with little but the clothes on their backs.
They spent their time growing in love and family in a little farmhouse by a brook, nestled within the beautiful Tennessee countryside. Around that time, the Williams, in their passion for serving others, were asked to start a ministry group for young married couples alongside others at their local church.
Late one night in 2016, Jessica woke Cory in tears. Pain wracked Jessica’s body, rendering one side of her body immobile. After numerous restless nights and multiple doctor visits, Jessica found out she had a neck injury that would prevent her from continuing her job as a hairstylist. During her time as a hairstylist, Jessica had fallen in love with preparing brides for their big day. Devastated and unsure what to do next, Jessica went home and felt what the Williams described as an idea sprung from God. Jessica’s love for brides and her passion for young couples inspired her to write a business plan for a wedding venue.
By 2017, Cory began building The Barn at Firefly Lane. The Williams, along with the young married couples from their ministry group, built the exterior and interior walls and the ceilings. Thus, Firefly Lane was built by people who wanted to serve and out of a desire to serve. By July 2017, the Williams hosted their first wedding at Firefly Lane.
Since then, Cory and Jessica added another venue space, The Chapel, and fully renovated the old home they originally purchased on the farm, now known as The Farmhouse. Cory and Jessica’s ministry became Firefly Lane.
